If anyone is reading this, please do me a howdy favor and write something in my poor old forgotten guestbook. I prefer having my own site to doing random junk on myspace or facebook, but I don't think I'm much of a blogger person .. however I'm wondering what to do with the format here - save old things I've written or just rehash it every time. I guess, whatever I feel like, right?

You're probably familiar with The GoodLuck Boys, the band of whammish involvement. We're workin on a new demo as a 4 member unit, not so much a collection of songs as a collage of our latest works as they mutate and progress towards what we hope will be a dynamic wide ranging improvisatory cinematic ritualistic music. As such we are of course concentrating on new ideas and ways of organizing snippets of material into a coherent whole
Marcus and I are mixing it now, our goal is to be sending it around by this weekend (october 17-19ish). I'll put it up on the glb site, in some form or another (after 'purely cosmetic' we have been constantly mixing and mashing together various recordings, handing them out to people unlabled. So we continue in this fashion.)
My parents Jak and MargT visited Japan recently for a barrel of laughs. We went everywhere. I might throw up some pictures from that if I find a way to do it that doesn't take exhorbitant chunks of my time. Lots of good memories, temples in Kyoto, hiking through little villages in the Japanese alps, biking all over some town in Nagano, riding far too many trains for any sane person, jumping in the typhoon-agitated waters of the pacific, biking around to little islands with cute shrines and caves, yes, these are good things and I wish I had more time to camp and kayak like my parents do. Maybe at some point in my always advancing life. Oh yeah! I got them drunk at karaoke and Dad stayed up past 2 AM, which I imagine he hasn't done in many many years.
